          World leading countries have launched a series of policy and actions to overcome the environmental pullulation issues. Such as China’s 2060 Carbon Neutrality Target and UK’s Net Zero Strategy to boost the development of renewable energy, carbon dioxide capture and utilisation and wastewater treatment and recycling etc. technologies. These three presentations will discuss several electrochemical methods currently being developed for energy creation and environmental remediation, including 1) A new type of hydrogen powered polymer electrolyte fuel cell with ultra-lightweight and high efficiency features for aviation applications; 2) carbon dioxide capture and electrolysis for producing value added chemicals with low energy consumption and 3) A novel electrodialysis cell using combined hydrogen oxidation and evolution for industrial wastewater recycling.
